Refer to the instructions
given on the care label on the inside of your clothing or fashion
accessories. They are specific to each item and have been scientifically tested
to prolong the life of each item!
Sort your laundry
according to colour and the washing temperatures indicated. Do not overload
your machine! Use a washing powder without a bleaching agent for your coloured
garments.
Don't forget to empty
pockets and to close zips and velcro to prevent them from getting blocked.
Wash your clothes inside
out, this will preserve the colour and reduce wear!
Machine-washing is
kinder to your clothes than hand-washing, care label permitting!
For machine-washable wool
items a short wash cycle and gentle spin is essential!
If you are hand-washing,
it's best to use a small amount of liquid detergent.
Do not soak or wring. Woollens can be spun wrapped in an absorbent towel.
Wash your delicates in a
special "wash bag" available in the shops or alternatively in a pillowcase.
Try to wash matching items
together when possible to avoid any slight variation in colour. See care
table below for symbols and definitions.
